16th April 2011 Universal Studios Orlando Islands of Adventures

This is the upside down house on International Drive Orlando which this really informative taxi drive showed us on the way back to our hotel.

Well we finally arrived in Orlando at 6.00am to an awesome airport and then off to the Holiday Inn Universal Drive. We decided even though we would like to sleep all day we should get straight into to it so off to Universal Studies Islands of Adventure were we went on the Hulk Rollercoaster, Doctor Doom's Fearfall then all lined up at Dudley Do Rights Ripsaw falls for 45min to get to the front of the line to be told it was not running - this was the first ride we finally got Tim to come on - not happy Jan!!! Then off to Harry Potter world which was really awesome. We went on the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride which took you through the classrooms and corridoors of Hogwarts then off to the Dragon Challenge which was a high speed roller coaster - went on that twice!! Then through the Lost Continent and by this stage every one was really tired so home we went. We were in bed by 5pm and woke up at 5am - sleep we really needed. Tim and I then decided to go to Walgreens to get some supplies and couldnt find a taxi so ended up taking the trolley back to our hotel - Tim looked very much at home being a "hobbo" with his trolley.
