Well we said goodbye to Vegas with an early morning get up at 5.30am as our flight left at 9am and it was sad to say goodbye. The Bellagio was absolutely beautiful - would definitely stay there again. We flew Hawaiin Airlines to Honolulu which took about 6 hours and it was an airbus 330 so nice plane and very smooth ride. We got to Honolulu about 12.30 and it was overcast and had been raining but very humid and warm so that was ok. As we left Vegas the rain was coming in there also so our stint of great weather would have ended either way. Anyway got a taxi from the airport and it was a taxi limo - how special did we feel!! It took about half an hour to get to the Hilton Hawaiin Village and it is really beautiful. These pictures are taken from the balcony of our room - what a view! We are staying in the Rainbow tower which is right on the beachfront and I think the complex is made up of 5 towers. We got here and settled in and then it was off to do some laundry and explore the place. We were all pretty tired so we just went and got some dinner at Ihop and then had a walk along the street to see any other restaurants and then off to bed. Even though it was only 9.30 here it was 12.30 in Vegas time and we were still on that time.
